Bobby Bentz
Bobby Bentz – Managing Partner

.

Question: What exactly is a hedge fund and why should I invest?

Answer: A hedge fund is a legal entity formed as an LLC (Limited Liability Corporation) or an LP (Limited Partnership). They first started in 1949, as a way for Investors to hedge the market in downtrends so that profits remain and don’t go down with the markets as mutual funds do. The Fund allows investors to pool their money together and invest in different ways to make the highest returns possible. The Managing Partner, also known as the Hedge Fund Manager, is the person over all the investments made by the Fund. Managing Partners will also have their own money invested into the Fund right alongside the Investors.

.

Question: Why should I Book a Zoom Meeting?

Answer: We ask people to set up Zoom Meetings because you will be meeting with Fund Manager Bobby Bentz. You can see exactly where he works and most importantly, he can share his screen with you, showing the Fund’s slideshow and exactly where the Fund’s finances are.

.

Question: What are the fees involved with becoming an Investor in this hedge fund?

Answer: None. There are no fees for signing up, annual fees, overhead fees, management fees or hidden fees of any kind. The only fees I have heard of from our existing Investors are bank wire fees. When Investors send wire transfers, some banks charge anywhere from $15 to $45 for their transfer services. Those fees are out of our hands, but as far as us at LorCo Capital, LLC there are no fees ever. We decided to have no fees or expenses for the Investors to stand out from other hedge funds which have been charging Investors for all kinds of fees which definitely hurts everyone’s annual returns. We would rather build long lasting relationships with our Clients and you cannot do that by feeing them to death.

.

Question: What is the minimum to invest?

Answer: The account minimum to start is $25,000 USD. The Fund Manager is allowed to accept otherwise in certain circumstances but this is an account that you want to grow over years. Though $25,000 is our minimum, most Investors have come into the Fund in sums of $50,000, $100,000, $250,000, $500,000 and so on capital accounts. There is no limit on the amount you can invest unless you are investing as a 501-C non-profit organization. The types of accounts available are: Personal, Co-Applicants, Business Entity, Institutional and for Non-Profits.

.

Question: LorCo Capital’s headquarters is in Charleston, South Carolina, but I don’t live there. Can I still invest?

Answer: Absolutely. Everything is done online anymore. Our Investors live in South Carolina, all throughout America and as far as Denmark. So wherever you live, you can become an Investor.

.

Question: I live in another country, can I still invest?

Answer: Absolutely. We currently have Foreign Investors from Denmark and Dubai. So we are definitely international and all signups are done online so no need to travel, unless you really want to.

.

Question: Do we need to meet in person?

Answer: No. All signups are done 100% online. We have met a few of our Investors and have had dinners with a few. But meeting in person is not a requirement but if you want to meet us, then that’s okay as well.

.

Question: Would I be considered an accredited investor or a non-accredited investor?

Answer: Our hedge fund is under the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) Rule Regulation 506-B which allows up to 35 Non-Accredited Investors and unlimited Accredited Investors. A Non-Accredited Investor is anyone who has basic investor knowledge and can invest the required minimum of $25,000 without it being a financial strain for them or their family or business. Money that is for investing for the long term.

An Accredited Investor is anyone who has an annual income of $200,000 or more and $300,000 or more annually if married and their spouse works.

Any questions please seek advice from your legal or accounting advisors or we can go over it in the application process.

.

Question: What is the whole process in becoming an investor and how long does the process take?

Answer: First thing is to Book a Zoom Meeting with Hedge Fund Manager Bobby Bentz from the website. You will be able to pick a date and time that works best for you. Also when setting up your meeting, you can also add an additional email address if you have another person that would like to be in the meeting.

At the Zoom Meeting we will see each other and you can see exactly where all the work is done. You will see a slide going over all of the information needed to become an Investor and also see the Funds accounting where we show all of our stock trades with all profits and losses.

You can ask any questions you have and if you like what you see and want to come into the Fund, you will be sent the legal documents through DocuSign. This is the same as starting any other financial account so you will have to provide color copies of the front and back of your driver’s license and/or passport, SSN card, and two forms of a utility bill in your name which shows full legal name and address on account which cannot be more than 90 days old.

.

Question: How exactly does this hedge fund make money?

Answer: We are a long/short equity hedge fund that trades in the American stock market ONLY. We do not invest in real estate, cryptocurrency, commodities, foreign exchange (Forex), gold, silver or any other financial products. The American Stock Market Only.

We do not invest in the stock market with long term positions as we trade in stocks for short term movements in the markets. All positions are anywhere from a few minutes, hours, days, weeks to up to 90 days max. We profit from short term gains and never long term. We do not trade in just one sector of the market. All trades are based on technical analysis and not fundamental. Our goal is short term gains constantly in having both short trade positions and long trade positions so we make gains when a company’s stock goes up or down.

.

Question: What is a Hurdle Rate and a Water Mark?

Answer: In our hedge fund we offer an 8% Hurdle Rate annually for every Investor. What that means is that the Investor receives the first 8% of the capital gains annually before the management company receives anything.

As for the Water Mark, that is set at the 8% annually so if for some reason the investor receives less than an 8% return, say only 5%, then the next annual year the Investor is owed 3% from the year before and the new years 8% for a total of 11% to the Investor before the management company receives any commissions.

.

Question: What is the lock-up period of my investment?

Answer: There are no lockups on Investors capital. We understand that there are life circumstances that acur. We do suggest to only Invest capital that you want to grow over time and will not need to pull out incase of an emergency. Don’t ever invest more than you can put aside for the long term. Every Investor is given an annual subscription date and each subscription is for that 12 months. Example, if you come into the Fund and are given a subscription date of March 28th, 2024 then your annual subscription will be up on March 28th, 2025. When that time comes you will be asked to book a Zoom Meeting with us where you will tell us if you want all of your capital gains, just some of it or to just roll it over for the next year for compounding your account and earnings.

If the Investor chooses to receive any capital gains, then a check will be mailed to them or wire transfer.

.

Question: Are there any risks of loss of my investment?

Answer: As for any investment that has ever existed, there are always risks of losses. At our Firm, we limit losses by hedging certain positions and cutting any positions that go against us very quickly and automatically by setting stop losses with all of our trades. That way losses are at a minimum. Managing risk is a top priority with every trade we make and on average we only place 1% – 2% of AUM (assets under management) into every trade.

Investors will receive monthly updates reporting all profits and losses and percentages of profits up or down for the past month.

.

Question: Would this be good for my retirement?

Answer: Of course. With investing in a traditional IRA, ROTH IRA or the SEP self employed plan for retirement accounts are surrounded with fees here and there and so many rules with how much you can invest, when you can get your money out, penalty fees for early withdrawals and so on. Though they might have some tax benefits which might be worth it to some people, they hold many limits which are not for the Investors who want to massively grow a financial account for their future.

.

Question: Who is the Hedge Fund Manager, the person responsible for all of the decisions & trading?

Answer: The person in charge of making the decisions is also known as the Managing Partner of the Fund and that person is Bobby Bentz. He was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina and has over twenty years experience trading in the stock market as well as having his own money in the Fund. Please CLICK HERE to read more about him on the About page.

.

Answer: Most likely in the same day. All Investors have direct access to the Managing Partner, Bobby Bentz, and can reach him by cellphone, text or email.

.
